2100 continued...

Anfernee saw the newspaper that the boy was reading. It was dated from the early 2090s, just before the ozone layer completly collapsed. He knew that during that time period, that the world still had trees. Small ones, anyway. Anfernee suddenly came out of his subconsious state, after hearing a nearby car. He looked around, just before everything went black.
Timmy was closely watching the older boy. He was looking at his newspaper, and appeared to be sad. When a small car drove by, the boy turned around and suddenly, for no apparent reason, fainted. Timmy ran to check on the boy. He looked around 14 or 15, and was grubby like he was. There appeared to be no apparent injuries, but Timmy went to get help anyway. When he returned with his mother, the boy was gone.
